I read gambling forums on the Internet and one of the things I have been successful over the years, is following situations where certain players post and say they have "A LOCK", or start bragging on themselves. This usually leads to an easy winner, if you go against that persons pick. In the casino, this works just as well and if you can devote some time to it, you can make yourself some money.
There are people that just can't win at anything they do and if you can spot these people and do the opposite they do, you will get the cash. There are dozens of hustlers and brokers around
Atlantic City
that fall into that category. They all play craps and if they hustle up a few bucks and are at a table, I make a beeline for that table and bet opposite everything they do. This works like a charm.
I was recently in a
Gulf
casino where there were a few black cats around like a notorious house man named Chilly Beaver. If you get on a good roll or the table starts yelling a little, over came Chilly Beaver to chill the hot table down. He would just walk up and say, "How are the table boys?" Or "How you all doing?"
This just disrupted the hot flow of the game and after the third time seeing this jinx of a man, every time he came within my visual, I yelled "ALL MY BETS ARE OFF" If the guy wasn't 80+ years old, he would have been beaten to a pulp by many a player nationwide over the years, the pit boss later told me.
I know a few guys back home like Chilly. One guy we call International. He is known internationally everywhere for his string of bad luck. Nice guy, but just can't pick a winner. Another guy I know is Houdini, because he makes money disappear quicker then the eye can see. If you saw Eddie Mush from the movie “The Bronx Tale”, you all get the idea.

This also works if you follow the lead of a lucky person and do what he does. For example, I won't play at a crap table unless I feel positive vibes coming from the table. When I say vibes, I mean I look in the rail of the table to see if people have a lot of chips in front of them. By looking at every player chips and hearing the cheers or moans, I can judge a table’s vibes.
This does not mean you will always win, but just means you’re going with the positive flow. If all of this stuff did not mean anything, then why do you see frowns on the floor persons face during a hot roll? Or better yet, the pit manager comes over to the table and tries to get that seven to roll on the dice to stop the hot game, by glaring over the game and whispering to the boxman or base dealers.
And if that doesn't work, they will try and find a flaw in the dice rollers style and pick that apart. They will tell him or her, "You can't blow on the dice, spin the dice, hit the chips' down the middle, hit the wall", and so on. TRUST ME ON THAT I HAVE BEEN ON BOTH SIDES OF THE GAME OVER THE YEARS AND THAT'S HOW IT WORKS.
