I don't give a donkey's dumper what game you play ‑ you MUST chart any table before you buy in.

This is one of the irrevocable rules that I lay out for you. Don't foul up this part of your approach. It is my humble opinion that in gambling ‑ Trends dominate. I strongly adhere to a person predetermining which way he or she will bet on a given day and then charting tables until they find a game that is running in the pattern of which way they had decided to bet. Then, and only then, may you buy in at that game.

If the way you have decided to bet is not showing at that table, then you got to have the guts to walk away and find a game that is running in tune with your thinking. But you absolutely, positively cannot play at just any table.

Suppose the Action Number System is the method you have decided to play on a certain day. It is your job to check out all the tables until you find the one that is banging out a predominance of those numbers.

Here's how you proceed. The Action Numbers, for your information are as follows:

GROUP ONE
a. 10 thru 15
b. 28 thru 33
c. 17‑18‑20‑21

We'll get deeper into this later, but for now understand that in the matter of charting, you should be looking for these numbers to appear. Sometimes you may have to chart 7 or 8 tables before you see a predominance of the Action Numbers showing ... So be it!

If you use 10 spins as your key, then you want at least 6 out of 10 action numbers to be showing. OK, you've come up to a table and begin charting. The following numbers show: 8 ‑ 14 ‑ 22 ‑ 20 ‑ 5 ‑ 0 ‑ 35 ‑ 18 ‑36 ‑ 12. Only four Action numbers appeared (14 ‑ 20 ‑18 ‑ 12). No way would I play at that table. There is no Trend occurring towards the way I want to play, so I move on.

Go back to that sequence of numbers, as I want to give you a deeper look into the Theory of charting. After seven spins, the numbers that appeared were 8‑14‑2220 ‑ 5 ‑ 0 and 35. That meant only 14 and 20 out of the first seven spins were Action numbers. I would have left right there ‑ no need to wait for 10 spins.

Staying with this thought, suppose at the next table you go to, the first few numbers read: 11 ‑ 28 ‑ 16 ‑ 31. Immediately go for the buy‑in. In this case, three out of four decisions were in your favor, so you want to get in on that Trend.

As you become more proficient in charting, you'll be able to grasp the reasoning behind these very important practice habits. It'll help you zero in on tables that are showing in the direction you have predetermined to bet.

5. black, red, red, black, red, black, red, black . . . . . move on

6. black, red, red, red . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .  buy in

7. red, red, black, red. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . buy in

8. red, black, red, black, black . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . .move on

None of the above even got to 10 spins, but enough of a pattern showed in the first couple of spins to solidify my intentions as to whether to play or move on.

If you are new to the 'charting' approach, set yourself an amount of spins that will be your barometer upon which you will make a decision. It could be 10 or 8 or 5 spins. Or it could be based on the total of 10, but allow the first 5 or 6 to help you make a decision.

Charting a table ‑ regardless of what game you play ‑is a powerful tool in deciding on which table you will attack.

Since I am so adamant in my belief that Trends dominate, I play only at tables where the system I have predetermined to use is showing on a continual basis. Sometimes I chart a table, find it going my way and buy in. Bango ‑ the Trend changes and heads in another direction.

Not to worry!! First off, I have set either three or four losses on the initial run to force me to walk away, but most of all, remember that you are always protected by your overall Loss Limit. That will prevent total wipe‑out.

So if you chart a table, find everything going the way you wanted and then have it change after you bought in, don't stand there like a cry baby, pouting about your rotten luck. Just wrap up that Session.
